Alison Hernandez has been selected as the Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner candidate for Devon and Cornwall.
Alison was selected as the candidate following interviews at CCHQ, the Selection Council meeting at Okehampton on 24th October (where all 18 Associations were represented) and at the 2 Primaries in mid-Cornwall and near Exeter on 30th and 31st October attended by around 200 members and electors.
Alison Hernandez has a strong background of working alongside the Police to promote community safety and cut crime.
Alison’s varied career includes working to tackle poverty in Plymouth when running Plymouth 2020 Partnership, fighting crime in Torbay and across the South West Region from within Torbay and at the Home Office, to being a Business Consultant in the UK and overseas helping Housing Associations and the Transport Industry with their business performance and improvement. Alison is also a nationally award-winning former Elected Cllr and activist in the business community.
